Margie N. Nichols, 66, of Vidor died Friday, September 15, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Newton, TX., she has lived in Vidor since 1990, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 4:30 p.m. at Ford Cemetery in Newton, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her sons Tommy Hardy, and Larry Hardy. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Doug Nichols of Vidor, sons Rick Hardy of Spurger, TX., Eugene Hardy, and Billy D. Hardy both of Orange, TX., Jimmy Hardy of Vidor, Mark Hardy of Memphis, TN., and George Hardy also of Vidor, daughters Rhonda Lewis of Orangefield, Carol of Maryland, Lisa Havard of Vidor, and Ruby Richardson of Tyler, TX., parents Bob and Margie Cousins of Newton, TX., brothers Barney Cogswell of Newton, and Robert Cousins of Salado, TX., sisters Sue Dougherty of Newton, and Kay Spinn of Holland, TX., thirty-three grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
