Margaret Mae Nelson

Margaret Mae Nelson,73, a longtime resident of Vidor died Sunday, June 14th, 2015 at her home. Her passion in life was to spend time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all. Margaret is survived by her loving husband Royce of 53 years, 3 daughters, Ranee' Nelson of Vidor, Rebecca Thompson and husband Scott of Beaumont, and Lisa Lockhart and partner Kevin Fournerat of Vidor. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, John Royce Lockhart and wife Laura of Silsbee, TX, Christopher Thompson, Cody Thompson, Alisa Reed and husband Griffin, all of Beaumont, and Michael Nelson and wife Shyanne of Vidor, 3 great grandchildren, Noah Reed, Weston Reed, and Sadie Reed, 2 sisters, Beathel Menard and Mattie Eaves, several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Carrol and Jettie Rash, 2 sisters, Margie Ferguson and Robbie Hunt, and 2 brothers, Robert Rash and Jesse Rash. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
