Marcus Leroy Martin

Marcus L. Martin, 77, of Vidor died Monday, May 28, 2012 at his residence. A native of Texarkana, AR., he has lived in Vidor for over 40 years, and was a self-employed dump truck driver. He was a member of the Local Teamsters Union. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with graveside services to be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Holly Springs Cemetery in Genoa, AR. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Marcus was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Pearl Martin. Marcus is survived by his sisters Evelyn Martin Rector Eaton of Siloam Springs, AR., and Lanita Martin Woods Goshorn of Texas City, TX., numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
