Lula Phillips, 77, of Vidor died Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Lumberton Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton, TX. A native of Bessmay, TX. She resided in Vidor since 1960 before moving to Lumberton 6 months ago. Lula was a retired supervisor for Southwestern Drugs Wholesale Co. And was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Kirbyville Cemetery in Kirbyville, TX. at 12:30 P.M.. Visitation was held Friday, March 25, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband S.J. Phillips of Lumberton, TX., sons: Bobby W. Phillips and his wife Beth of Vidor, TX, Steve J. Phillips and his wife Betty of The Colony, TX., Paul D. Phillips and his wife Terri of Vidor, TX., brother: Farrest Gossett of Baytown, TX., 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
