Lovora Frederick

Lovora Richard Frederick, 95, of Lumberton died Tuesday, October 25th, 2016. She was born April 17, 1921 in Branch, La to William and Caroline Richard. Lovora married the love of her life, Henry Frederick, on July 2, 1937. Together they owned and operated Frederick's Dairy Farm. She enjoyed attending church, traveling, cooking, visiting family and friends and was a member of Loeb Baptist Church in Lumberton. As described by one of her great-granddaughters, "she was a christian woman but she would tell it like it is, respectfully." She will be greatly missed. She was survived by her daughter, Naomi Frederick Borchelt, four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren and special niece, Dianne. Lovora was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry Frederick, her parents and nine siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm and funeral services at 2:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor TX. Burial will follow at Bland Cemetery.
