Louise "Boggie" Pickering

Louise "Boggie" Pickering, 82, of Vidor, TX died Friday, September 22nd, 2017. A native of Huxley, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church. Louise liked quilting, crocheting, working crossword puzzles, traveling and camping but she especially enjoyed spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, September 25, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Louise is survived by 3 sons; Ronnie Pickering and his wife Debbie of Lumberton, TX, Michael Pickering and his wife Elaine of Vidor, and Terry Pickering and his wife Phyllis of Lumberton, 6 grandchildren; Aaron Pickering and his wife Shelly, Amber Chandler and her husband Delbert, Kristopher Pickering and his wife Regina, Joshua Pickering and Daniel Heath, Deanna Loftin and her husband K.J. and Shelbi Pickering. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 1 sister; Lottie Hammett, 1 brother; G.W. Strong, and her loving nurse and friend; Darlin Brucia. Louise was preceded in death by her husband; Earl Ronald Pickering, Sr., 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
