Lonnie Mitchell Granger

Lonnie M. Granger, 89, of Vidor died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Vidor Health and Rehab. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lonnie was a member of Christ Community Church and was a member of Local Union #450 for over 55 years. He was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening. Lonnie served his country during WWII in the US Marine Corps. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Mary Williams Cemetery in Orangefield, TX. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lonnie is survived his wife Betty Jane Breaux Granger of Vidor, TX, son Lonnie E. Granger of Beaumont, TX, daughters Tracy Granger of Austin, TX, Carol Sue Duhon and her husband Tony of Vidor, TX, step-son Kenneth Harrison and his wife Cindy of Vidor, TX, brother Wallace Granger of Fred, TX, sister Verna Granger of CA, and 3 grandchildren. Lonnie was preceded in death by his son Todd Granger.
