Lonnie Leo Rainwater, Jr

Lonnie L. Rainwater, Jr., 79, of Blanchard, Oklahoma died Wednesday, May 4th, 2016 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, TX , he was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Blanchard, OK 8 years ago. Lonnie was a Pipe Fitter with Local Union #195 for 49 years. He served his country in the US Army, also he enjoyed fishing and hunting on the Neches river. Lonnie loved frying fish for family and friends and shooting pool with his best friend Jack. Visitation will be held between 2:00 - 3:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and the grave side service will begin at 4:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2016 at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, Louisiana. Lonnie is survived by his son Todd Rainwater of Blanchard, OK, daughter Megan Cryer of Vidor, TX, brothers Johnny Rainwater, Larry Rainwater, sisters Joycie Hanks all of Vidor, TX and 5 grandchildren.
