Lois Laverne Seigrist

Lois L. Seigrist, 81, of Vidor died Monday, August 19, 2013 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Little Rock, AR, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lois enjoyed gardening and was a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at Old Faith Chapel in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Old Faith Chapel. Lois was preceded in death by her sons Donnie Ray Seigrist and James Phillip Seigrist, brothers Albert Castile, Jimmy Castile, James William Castile, sisters Louise Castile Hazeslit, Mayola Castile, and Susie Irvine. She is survived by her husband Vermon Seigrist of Vidor, TX, sons Benny Seigrist and Clint Seigrist both of Vidor, TX, daughters Naomi Schafer of Vidor, TX, Barbara Haining of Ward, AR, Lois Faye Senn of Gladewater, TX, Vanessa Bailey of Vidor, TX, and Billie Will of Vidor, TX, brother Johnnie Joe Castile of Vidor, TX, Eddie Castile of Vidor, TX, sisters Rose Siegrist of Cabot, AR, Mary Lewis of Vidor, TX, 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
