Lloyd Eugene Smith

Lloyd Eugene Smith, 82, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. He was a born to Eugene and Minnie Smith September 4, 1928 in Vidor. Lloyd loved his family, fishing, hunting and going to the flea markets. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor and a member of the Carpenters Union. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his sons, Mark Smith, wife Barbara from Silbsee, James Smith and his wife Terri from Vidor, and daughter Sherry Milner and her husband Audie from Lumberton; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6pm - 8pm Monday, June 25, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home and funeral services will be at 2pm Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with interment at Stephenson Cemetery in Vidor. The family would like to extend their thanks to staff at Oakwood Manor and special thanks to Brenda for the care provided to Lloyd.
