Lisa Marie Harris

Lisa Marie Harris, 60, of Vidor died Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 at her residence. She was a native of Allentown, Pennsylvania and 1981 graduate of Parkland High School, much of her life had been spent in San Diego California, though she had been a resident of Vidor, Texas for the past nine years. Lisa proudly served her country in the United States Navy for four years. Following her career in the Navy Lisa joined the San Diego County Sheriff's Department where she devoted 28 years before retiring. Lisa earned many distinguished personal awards from the San Diego County Sheriff's Office during her time there. She was a proud member of the Elks Lodge as well as the American Legion. Lisa had recently been taking a yearly trip to Memphis to participate in the annual Duck Walk at the Peabody Hotel where she served as Duck Master gaining the friendship and love of the staff of the Peabody as well as the ducks. Lisa was an avid animal lover with a huge heart for her four dogs Brindie, Pepper, Blackie, and, Bandit. Lisa is survived by her mother Carol Ann Kinsey of Allentown, Pennsylvania, her brother Terry Harris of Panama City Beach, Florida, three aunts, eight nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and many many dear friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her husband Timothy Phillips, her brother Brett Harris, her father Richard Harris, step father Chester Kinsey, and many pets that she gave a wonderful life to. To honor Lisa the family would suggest making a charitable donation to the Humane Society of South East Texas
