Linda Sue Lafferty

Linda Sue Lafferty, 77, of Orange, died Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Channelview and has lived in Orange for the past 8 years. She retired from Channelview ISD as a tax accessor. Linda was a member of 1442 Church of Christ in Orange. She loved quilting, gardening, going to her grandchildren's sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. Funeral services for Linda will be Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at 1442 Church of Christ in Orange with interment at Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 PM. She is survived by her children Scott and wife Jennifer Durbin of Orange, TX, Robert Lafferty, Barbara Lafferty, Chuck Lafferty, Bill Lafferty, and John Lafferty, siblings Larry Battenfield, Earl Battenfield, Edmond Battenfield, and Judy Price, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Lafferty.
