Lewis 'Red' Parker, 66, of Vidor died Monday, February 11, 2013 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Newport News, Virginia, He was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lewis was a retired oil field worker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, February 15, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lewis was preceded in death by his son Baby Boy Parker, daughter Christina Parker Greer and brothers Eugene and Franklin Parker. He is survived by his wife Joyce Parker, daughter Michelle Josey and her husband Kevin of Vidor, TX, sisters Genieve Caruthers of Batson, TX, Beverly Fore of Magnolia, TX., Wanda Johnson of Flint, TX., Arlene Holcomb of Spring, TX., Donna Johnson of Etoille, TX., Alice Mathews, Drusilla Lindbeck, Brenda Long, and Peggy Hall all of Vidor, and three grandchildren.
