Lester Lynn Smith

Lester L. Smith, 70, of Vidor died Friday, August 29, 2008 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and an Independent Distributor with Little Debbie. He was a Past Master of the Pine Forest Masonic Lodge # 1420. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lester was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Dollie Smith, brothers Wallace Smith and Benny Smith, sisters Dorothy Free and Virginia Denson, and grandson Beau Prichard. He is survived by his wife Pamala Smith of Vidor, his children Cynthia McDaniel and her husband Byron, Karen Kettl and her husband Roger, and Chris Erwin and his wife Karla all of Vidor and Sherry Palombo and her husband Keith of Groves, sister Melba Borel of Humble, grandchildren Tasha Erwin, B.J. McDaniel, Joshua Erwin, Jaysen Kettl, Courtney Dies, Travis Dies, Willie McDaniel, Christie Dies, Sara Kettl, and Gina Palombo, and one great granddaughter Lexey Dies. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
