Leslie Carroll Matthews

Leslie Carroll Matthews, 66, of Vidor died April 7, 2003 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of El Dorado, AR., he lived in Vidor for the past 42 years. Leslie served his country in the U.S. Marines Corps. and was a member of the Vidor Masonic Lodge #1286. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday April 10, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday April 9, 2003 at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Margaret Matthews of Vidor, TX., daughter: Melena and Mike Koch of Vidor, TX., brother: Ollie P. Howard of N.C., sisters: Bobbie Mae Matthews of Wimberley, TX., Patricia Saunders of Ft. Worth, TX., and 2 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
