Lena Belle Cole

Lena Cole of Vidor, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Bevil Oaks, Texas. She was born January 6, 1918, to Alexander Stephen and Bessie Emley Belle Lemley Norton, in Kaufman County, Texas. Lena was preceded in death by her husband Mike Cole, parents Alexander Stephen and Bessie Emley Belle Lemley Norton, three sisters Addie Mae Fults, Mary Elizabeth Henry, and Sally Leona Arrington. She is survived by her brother-in-law- Carlton H. Arrington of Jacksonville, Texas and many nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Vidor. She and her husband Mike operated Cole Gas and Appliances in Vidor for many years, in the 70's and 80's. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Jarrett Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First United Methodist Church 501 N.
