Lavella Ellen Alvarez

Lavella E. Alvarez, 49, of Orange died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. She was a native and a lifelong resident of Orange, TX. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 pm Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lavella was preceded in death by her son Robert Alvarez and daughter Janie Arnold. She is survived by her son Poncho Hernandez and his wife Desiree of Lacey, WA, daughters Stormy Alvarez and her husband Daniel of Harlem, GA, Tammy Welch of Orange, TX, brothers Jerry and Bill Lummus both of Orange, TX, Joey Evans of Lake City, SC, sisters Louise Casas of Winnie, TX, Mary Thompson of Sumter, SC, grandchildren Kailey Arnold and Ayden Hernandez.
