Larry Melvin Granttham

Larry M. Granttham, 58, of Vidor died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Larry was a native of St. Louis, Mo, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Larry was a boilermaker and served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of VFW Post #8246 and American Legion in Orange. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, November 16, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Larry was preceded in dea6th by his daughter Christine Renee Granttham and sister Nora Gibbs. He is survived by his wife Catherine Granttham, daughters Amanda Granttham Yu and her husband James of Houston, TX, Laura Granttham Michael and her husband Harold of Rosehill, VA, brother Matt Kenny of California, sister Rev. Terri Carruthers of Arizona, 3 grandchildren Casey and Hunter Michael, and Sadie Yu.
