Larry K. Melvin

Larry K. Melvin, 68, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Jackson, MS he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Larry worked for many years as an automobile mechanic and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park. Larry is survived by 2 sons; Jonathan Melvin and his wife Kristen of Vidor and Joel Melvin and Vanessa Simmons of Kilgore, TX, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters; Deborah Mayo of Center, TX and Glenda Morgan of Arlington, TX, 2 brothers; Randy Hollingsworth and Kevin Hollingsworth both of Vidor. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; M.L. Melvin and Irma Hollingsworth and 1 brother; Alan Melvin. Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
