Larry Dean Helms, Sr.

Larry D. Helms, Sr., 63, of Vidor died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Tulia, TX., he has lived in Vidor for 31 years, and was a retired serviceman with Entergy. Larry served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, graveside services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Larry is survived by his wife Connie Helms of Vidor, son Larry Helms, Jr., of Frisco, TX., daughter Lauren Helms Finley of Vidor, mother Odene Helms, and brother Ronnie Helms both of Arlington, sister Janice Wilkes of Bedford, TX., six grandchildren: Madison McGee, Trey McGee, Kailee Helms, Hayden McGee, Logan Helms, and Makahla Finley.

10:30 a.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
