Kyle "Gene" Eugene Jones, Jr

October 6, 1951 — October 26, 2014

Kyle Eugene Jones, Jr., 63, a long time resident of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was the head cook and team leader for the Texas Star Cookers Barbeque Team. Kyle loved to fish, play softball, barbeque, and especially spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of 37 years, daughter, Cheryl of Vidor, Texas, Grandson, Kevin, of Vidor, Texas, and sister Cheryl Lynn Stubblefield of Dayton, Texas. Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Alice LeJune and Kyle Eugene Jones, Sr., son, Kevin Eugene Jones, and sister, Debbie Wirick. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6.00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home.
