Kirby Lee Bailey

Kirby L. Bailey, 85, of Vidor died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his residence. A native of Pollock, TX., Kirby has been a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a retired carpenter with Local #753. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church of Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church. Kirby was preceded in death by his by his parents William and Lena Bailey. Kirby is survived by his wife of 61 years Geraldine Bailey of Vidor, his daughters Debbie Hollier, Linda Blanchard, and Susie Maines and husband Charles, sons Phillip Bailey and wife Carolyn, Paul Bailey and wife Charlotte, and Mitchell Bailey and wife Christy, sister Edith Mae Smith and husband Joe Ed of Crandall, TX., twenty-one grandchildren: Larissa Higuerra, Amanda Cooper, Roger Hollier, Jr., Joel Hollier, Traci Warner, Teri Wiggins, Travis Maines, Jared Hollier, Todd Maines, Kamie Peddy, Sarah Bisson, Megan Counts, Ty Maines, Birttany Jacobs, Colby Bailey, Chayne Bailey, Chase Bailey, Candace Whitewood, Ciara Bailey, Cody & Cassidy Bailey, and thirty-six great grandchildren.
