Kevin Paul Smithson

Kevin P. Smithson, 50, of Vidor died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Pasadena, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Kevin was a heavy equipment operator for I.B.E.W. Local Union #2286. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 3, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Trout Creek Cemetery, Trout Creek, TX.. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Jerry Smithson and grandson John Allen Read. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Beth Smithson of Vidor, TX, sons Russell Partin and his wife Kimberly of Vidor, TX, Joe Read Jr and his wife Kayla of Vidor, TX, daughter Renee' Newman of Vidor, TX, brothers Britt Smithson and his wife Tonya of Tomball, TX, Mitch Smithson and his wife Cindy of Pasadena, TX, sister Shelley Schrogg and her husband Miles of AZ, Charlene Moore of Tomball, TX, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
