Kenneth Wayne Ratcliff, Sr

Kenneth W. Ratcliff, 66, of Gist died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Gist, TX. Kenneth was a painter and served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of New Cherry Baptist Church in Gist. Memorial services will begin at 10:00 am Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow. A gathering of family and friend will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Loreina Ratcliff, sisters Gloria Bland and Vera Thibodeaux and granddaughter Rachel Clark Ratcliff. He is survived by his wife 47 years Theresa Ratcliff, sons Kenny Ratcliff of Vidor, TX, Jason Ratcliff of Mauriceville, TX, Shannon Ratcliff of Buna, TX,daughters Shawna Nash of Montgomery, TX, Kim Victor of Mauriceville, brothers L.B., and Jimmy Ratcliff both of Gist, TX, sister Marty Tillerson of Houston, TX, 11 grandchildren.
