Kenneth James Broussard

Kenneth J. Broussard, 79 of Vidor died Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at Oakwood Nursing Home in Vidor. He was a longtime resident of Vidor. Kenneth was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a truck driver for 20 years. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren, traveling and dancing. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and a rosary at 7:00 pm Friday, March 29, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow at 1:00 pm at China Cemetery in China, TX. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Betty Broussard, parents Ivy and Daisy Broussard and sister Brenella Mouton. He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Parks and her husband Harold of Vidor, TX, Daphne Fuller and her husband Rodney of Beaumont, TX, brother Dale Broussard Los Angels, CA, sisters Mary Broussard of Port Arthur, TX, Jackie Bryon of Port Neches, TX, 5 grandchildren Brian Parks of Baton Rouge, LA, Ronnie and Wesley Parks, Victoria Parks all of Vidor, TX, Chantal Ramber of Dallas, TX, 3 great grandchildren Haley Ramber, Harper and Blake Parks.
