Kenneth Ivan Croak

Kenneth “Butch” Ivan Croak, 65, of Vidor died August 5, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Orange, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Ivan was a 1958 Vidor High School graduate and attended Sam Houston State University. He was a retired Corrosion Technician with Texas Eastern Gas Pipeline Co., was a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor, served on the VISD School Board since 1977 and also served as president of the Vidor Youth Baseball League and Vidor Football League . Ivan was a vital employee of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor for the past four years. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at First Baptist Church. Ivan is survived by his wife of 43 years Betty Croak sons: Kenny Croak and his wife Joni, David Croak and his wife Linda , mother: Edna Croak all of Vidor, TX, brother: Pete Croak of Vidor, TX, sisters: Sue Beathard of Vidor, TX, Camilla “Millie” Laidacker of Beaumont, TX, grandsons: Shane, Brad, and Trent Croak, and granddaughter: Bailey Croak.
