Kathy Lynn Miller

Kathy L. Miller, 52, of Vidor died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Kathy was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and a retired crime scene investigator after 22 years of service with the Beaumont Police Department. Kathy was a member and past Fire Marshall of the Vidor Volunteer Fire Department for 17 years, and past president of East Texas Fire Fighter and Fire Marshall Association. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Burton and Patricia Tucker, and her brother John Tucker. Kathy is survived by her husband Randy Miller of Vidor, sons Gus Deason of Beaumont, Robert Deason of Vidor, and Brian Miller of Denver, CO., daughters Margie Deason of Vidor, Jasmine Gilley of Nederland, and Hailey Miller of Vidor, brother Henry Tucker of Vidor, sister Cindy Sue Granger of Colmesneil, TX., and six grandchildren.
