Karla E. Byron

Karla E. Byron, 64, of Vidor died Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 at UTMB Hospital in Galveston, TX. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Karla was a reserve Vidor Police Officer and a retired Truant Officer for VISD. She loved to paint and decorate her home, but she was especially an animal lover. She loved her family and God. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Karla is survived by her daughters Tamatha Yager of Katy, TX and Robin Schoonover of Atascocita, TX, mother Melba Etta James of Vidor, TX and 5 grandchildren.
