Junior F. Holmes, 75, of Vidor died Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Junior was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Vidor, and has lived in Vidor since 1963. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church of Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Junior was survived by his loving wife Roberta “Bobbi” Holmes, sons, Randall Holmes, Darrell Holmes, and Jerry Holmes all of Vidor, Tracy Holmes of Saraland, AL., and Robert Whitman of Sealy, TX., daughters, Wonda Welch, Rhonda Monroe both of Vidor, TX., and Mary Ann Fitzpatrick of Boerne, TX., brothers, Gene Holmes of Lumberton, TX., and Kenneth Holmes of Creola, AL., sisters, Onzel Caudle of Eva, AL., Nell Brown of Baileyton, AL., Lilly Hopper of Eva, AL., Hilda Hester of Baileyton, AL., and Sue Oakley of Cullman, AL., twenty-one grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews and friends.
