June Lee Bright

June L. Bright, 78, of Vidor died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Joaquin, TX., she was a longtime resident of Vidor. June retired after 26 years of working in the food service department at Oak Forest Elementary School in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. June was preceded in death by both husbands Arthur Bright in 1979, and Lamar Corbet in 2002, daughter Belinda Gray, and brothers Gordon Pigg and Cecil Pigg. She is survived by her son Gary Bright of Vidor, daughter Patty Bright and her husband Kurt VanOostron of Vidor, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
