Judy Marie Mercer (Baker)

Judy Mari Mercer (Baker), 69, of Vidor, TX died Sunday, January 12th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Big Rapids, MI she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Judy retired from the United States Postal Service after 25 years as a letter carrier. She was a member of The Source of Unending Life Church and loved spending quality time with her family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, January 16, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Judy is survived by her husband of 16 years; George Mercer, 1 son; Donnie Baker and his wife Angie of Vidor, 1 daughter; Brenda Denby and her husband Joey also of Vidor, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters; Jeanette Vasquez, Victoria Turner, and Johnna Robinson, and 2 brothers; James Riley and J.J. Riley. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; Irvin and Clara Jackson, mother; Kay Riley and 1 daughter; Karen Hendrick.
