Judy M. Lemp, born on September 6, 1946, peacefully passed away on January 6, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of J.C. and Mary Statum and a lifelong resident of Vidor, Texas. In 1970, she married Donald Lemp, and together they built a life in Vidor. Judy's love for fishing and bowling was a testament to her adventurous spirit. She spent many memorable trips at Lake Guerro in Mexico, as well as countless hours on Lake Sam Rayburn and Lake Toledo Bend. A dedicated bowler, Judy carried an impressive 186 average and participated in two leagues for many years. Her passion for bowling extended to national tournaments, where she showcased her skill and sportsmanship. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Mary, her son James, daughter Brenda, sister Diane, brother Mike, grandson Johnathan, and granddaughter Lauren. She is survived by her loving husband, Don Lemp, and her daughters Theresa Prompradit, Linda Legasse, and Tanya Corbello. Judy is also survived by her brother J.C. Statum and sisters Barbara May and Debbie Brister. Her legacy lives on through her 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Judy will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, love for family, and the joy she brought to the bowling alley and fishing trips. May she rest in peace.
