Joyce Marie Guidry

Joyce Romero Guidry, 83, of Vidor died Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at her home. Born in New Iberia, Louisiana, Joyce was a longtime resident of Vidor who liked fishing, horse racing and was known as an amazing cook. She was a health care provider and loved taking care of people. Visitation will Friday, April 1, 2016, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, George Guidry, 2 sons, Michael Guidry and wife Diane and Van Guidry all of Vidor, 2 daughters, Patricia Karr of Houston, TX and Leann Guidry of Lumberton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren and 1 great, great, great, grandson. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
