Joyce B. Jenkins

Joyce B. Jenkins, 92, of Vidor, TX died Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home. A native of Turkey Creek, LA she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Joyce loved gardening and working with flowers. She also enjoyed going fishing, quilting, and crocheting but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Joyce is survived by 3 daughters; Dixie Langston and her husband Frankie of Vidor, Cindy Lambright and her husband Ottis Jr. of Kirbyville, TX and Becky Herline and her husband Neil of Brookeland, TX, 3 sons; Carl Jenkins and his wife Enid of Vidor, and Willie Jenkins and his wife Rachel of Humble, TX, and Jerry Fowle and his wife Karen of Hemphill, TX. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband; Carl C. Jenkins, 1 daughter; Velda Fowle, 1 grandson; John Sanders, 1 sister; Barbara Hazelton and 1 brother; Jessie Hazelton.
