Joy Pauline Poston

Joy Pauline Poston was received in to this world on June 10, 1925 by her loving parents Ethel and Monroe Perkins of Texla, Texas. She was the fifth of sixth children born to Ethel and Monroe.
She lived all over this beautiful country, but eventually settled in Vidor, Texas, sharing property on East Railroad with her Mother and her sister Faye. She was an amazing singer, dancer, baker and seamstress.
She welcomed her first child in to this world in 1943 and went on to become the mother of eight.
She is survived by her children Linda Faye Parker - Northen, William Rodger Parker, Sharon Eve Davis, Shelly Lynn Zacharias and Dorothy Denise Casey – Durham
In her lifetime she was blessed with 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren.
She parted this physical world on June 23, 2018, but the legacy she created within each of us will never die.
