Johnnie Aleece Safar

Johnnie A. Safar, 77, of Vidor died Monday September 8, 2003 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Maude, Oklahoma, she lived in Vidor since 1947. Johnnie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Vidor and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday September 10, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday September 9, 2003 at the funeral home. Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband Joe Safar. She is survived by her sons: Jeff Safar of Beaumont, TX., Chad Safar of Vidor, TX., daughter: Debbie Molanders of Vidor, TX., 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
