John Willie Harris

John Willie Harris, 84, of Vidor, TX died Friday, August 31st, 2018 at home surrounded by family. A native of Tenaha, TX he was a longtime resident of Vidor. John was a truck driver for many years hauling heavy equipment and enjoyed fishing and working in his yard but he especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, LaDell Harris and many friends and church family. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Lakeview Baptist Church.
