John Newton Gall

January 13, 1926 — October 19, 2003

John N. Gall, 77, of Vidor died Sunday, October 19, 2003 at his residence. A native of Nederland, Texas he has lived in Vidor since 1957, and was a retired operator with Texas U.S. Chemicals after 20 years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, as a 1st class seaman, and also a proud member of the Vidor Masonic Lodge # 1286. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Ada Rose Gall of Vidor, son, John Gall of Dayton, TX., daughters, Pamela Halbrook of Vidor, TX., and Peggy Darby of Cason TX., brother, Raymond “Bud” Gall of Vidor, TX., sisters, Dorthey Mae Neff of Vidor, TX., and Elodia Brandin of Houston, TX., nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.br
