John Larry Shepherd, Sr.

John Shepherd, Sr, 70, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, November 24th, 2018 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, TX. A native of Beaumont John was a longtime resident of Vidor and work as an automotive mechanic for many years and previously enjoyed racing cars. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; Nancy Shepherd, 2 daughters; Lisa Henderson of Philadelphia, PA and Sabrina FerDon of Woodville, TX, 3 sons; James Shepherd of Oklahoma City, OK, Jody Shepherd of Vidor, and John Shepherd, Jr. of Draper, UT. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 brother; Glen Shepherd of Bridge City, TX and 1 sister; Janet Walker of Vidor. John was preceded in death by his parents; Jodie and Ruby Shepherd and 1 sister; Shiela Shepherd. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
