John Foyce Winn

John F. Winn, 81, of Vidor, TX died Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Oberlin, LA he was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church. John worked in the electrical industry and was a member of IBEW Local 390 for 50 years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing but he especially enjoyed spending special time with his family and friends and loved his little dog "Prince". Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church with interment to follow at Mansfield Cemetery. John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years; Bernice Winn, 1 daughter; Teresa Tauzin and her husband Benny of Vidor, 1 son; Foyce Winn and his wife Tami of Vidor, 4 grandchildren; John Tauzin, Lance Tauzin, Destany Chandler and Olivia Floyd, 4 great grandchildren; Ella Tauzin, Remi Chandler, Lincoln Chandler, and Arianna Chandler, along with 1 brother; Leon Winn. John was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Ruby Bebout and Lois Taylor and 1 brother; Ed Winn.
