John Edward Lanclos

September 20, 1926 — February 27, 2004

John Edward Lanclos, 77, of Vidor died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 at his residence. A native of Arnaudville, LA, he lived in Vidor since 1955 and was a maintenance mechanic for Firestone Chemical Co. John served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where he was a member of Knights of Columbus. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday March 1, 2004 with a Christian Vigil being held at 7 pm at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mozelle Glenn Lanclos; son, Raymond Glenn Lanclos and his wife Mary Alice of Vidor; brother, Allen Lanclos of Vidor; sister, Mary Robinson of Bellville, TX; grandchildren are Kevin Neal Lanclos and Rachel Elaine Louviere and her husband Brent Michael.
