Joe Dewayne Perry Sr.

Joe D. Perry Sr., 72 of Vidor died Thursday, July 11th, 2019 at his residence. A native of Lubbock, Texas, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Joe was a Process Operator for PPG for 18 years before moving to BASF where he retired after 19 years. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joe also enjoyed listing to old country music. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, July 15, 2019 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Joe is survived by his wife of 53 years Betty Shannon Perry of Vidor, TX, sons Joe Perry Jr of Vidor, TX and Daniel Perry of Littleton, CO, daughter Cindy Hart of Vidor, TX, mother Mildred Perry of Vidor, TX, sisters Pat Lawrence of Vidor, TX and Mary Linscomb of Fred, TX, brother Eddie Perry of Vidor, TX and 10 grandchildren.
