Jody Alan Erickson, 54, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully, on May 24, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, in Houston. Born on November 2, 1969, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Elizabeth Ann Adams, and John Albert Erickson, Jody's warm and selfless personality touched the lives of many friends, co-workers and everyone fortunate enough, to have known him. Jody was a very kind and caring man who always put others' needs, before his own and his true happiness came, from uplifting those around him. Jody graduated, from Port Neches Groves High School, in 1988, and attended Lee College, in Baytown, TX, until his hire date, of 03-10-1997, with Equistar Chemicals, LP. Jody was a very loyal, knowledgeable and dedicated person, who loved his career, in Pipeline Operations, as Pipeline Maintenance Specialist. Jody enjoyed hunting, with his brother Randy, and numerous co-workers. He loved fishing, with his brother, sisters Johnnie and Janna, co-workers and friends. Jody is survived by his wife, Terry Erickson, step-daughter, Brandi Wurtz, step-father, Jerry Sessions, step-mother, Brenda Erickson, sister-in-law, Tracey Erickson, brother-in-law, Gerrit Achord, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jody was loved by many and he made this world a better place. He truly made a difference and will always be loved and missed greatly! Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
