Joan Elaine Burgin

Joan E. Burgin, 77, of Vidor died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her residence. A native of Port Arthur, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Joan was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friend will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, December 28, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Charles Burgin. She is survived by her sons Ricky Bertrand of Little Cypress, TX, John Burgin of Vidor, TX, and Randy Bertrand of Nederland, TX, daughter Lisa Manning of Kirbyville, TX, brother Donald Hamilton of Port Arthur, TX, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
