Jimmie Whitmire, Sr.

Jimmie Whitmire, Sr., 84, of Vidor died Saturday, March 20, 2004 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Evadale, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and was a reitred boilermaker and fitter with Mobil Oil in Beaumont, TX. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jimmie is survived by his son, Jimmie Whitmire, Jr., of Vidor, and daughter, Peggy Benson of Vidor, eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
