Jimmie Ray Sonnier

Jimmie R. Sonnier, 69, of Vidor died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Flynn, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jimmie was a retired Pipe fitter with Local Union #195 in Nederland and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. He served his country faithfully in the US Marine Corps and the US Army. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jimmie is survived by his loving wife Verna Sonnier, son Brent Sonnier and his wife Dawn of New Braunfels, TX, 2 granddaughters Anna Christiana and Ashleyn Lee Sonnier.
