Jim Edwin Pool

Jim Pool, 56, of Gilchrist died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, TX. A native of Port Arthur he has lived in Gilchrist for 11 years and was self-employed for 25+ years as a lawn maintenance technician. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation following the services. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Vidor. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Mona Pool of Gilchrist, sons Kevin Warren, and Ronnie Nobles both of Marksville, LA., daughter Laurie Sheappard and her husband Todd of Orange, mother Dorothy Pool of Vidor, brothers Rusty Pool and Paul Pool both of Vidor, sisters Donna Furry and Janet Benoit both of Vidor, and 9 grandchildren: Falon, Shayna, Demi, Alyssa, Destiny, Kennedy, Abby, Hunter and Nathaniel.
