Jewel Odell Andrews

Jewel O. Andrews, 97, of Pearland died Monday, June 30, 2008 at Friendship Haven Nursing Home in Friendswood, TX. A native of Liberty, TX., she lived in Vidor for 54 years before moving to Pearland 3 years ago. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Jewel was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years James N. Andrews, and her son James Cecil Andrews. She is survived by her son Earl Andrews of Vidor, daughter Betty Wall of Pearland, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
