Jewel Dean Carlton

Jewel Dean Carlton, 79, of Vidor died Tuesday June 10, 2003 at Northpark Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A native of Wolfe City, Texas , she was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Crosby, Texas were she lived for 3 to 4 years, she recently moved to Dunlap, TN. Jewel was a member of the VFW Post 8246 in Vidor and she was an Eastern Star of Beaumont 71. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 14, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday June 13, 2003 at the funeral home. He is survived by her sons: James Currey Carlton of Dunlap, TN., Joe Edward Carlton of Vidor, TX., daughter: Velva Louise Gill of Crosby, TX., brother: Jack Hutchinson of Celeste, TX., 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
