Jerry "J" James Marion Jr.

Jerry Marion, 51 of Vidor died Friday, October 6th, 2017 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jerry was a 1984 graduate from Vidor High School and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed running, hunting, computers and spending time riding his motorcycle. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, October 9, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Jerry James Marion Sr., grandparents Otha and Beulah Oldbury, Ben and Isabel Squires and Oliver Marion, nephew David Marion. He is survived by his sons Joshua Marion and wife Heather of Glendale, AZ, Adam Marion and wife Courtney of Gilmer, TX, and Steven Marion of Liberty, MO, grandson Jaxon Marion of Gilmer, TX, mother Nelwyn Marion of Vidor, TX, brothers Mike Marion and Oliver Marion both of Vidor, TX, sister Sonja Roberts of Ogden, UT, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
